About

Here at A2Z Sports, we give you unapologetic, comedic, and slightly Boston biased takes on the wide world of sports. Our two writers, Aidan and Jack, love nothing more than talking sports with anybody who’ll listen and offer their own ideas in return.

Our goal has always been to cover sports in a fun way that encourages debates between fans of all walks of life. Nowadays, it seems that too many people are worried about being right that they forget what’s best about sports: Individual, unique opinions. Before analytics became such a centerpiece in the sports world, it seemed like people were more open to giving their two cents. Now, with the seemingly unlimited amounts of data available to us, people lose sleep about whether analytics will back up their claims or not. Sports can be a universal conversation, and denying somebody’s voice in those debates because of a bunch of numbers is a closeminded way to approach the world that we don’t agree with. So, when we give our takes in articles, we always encourage the reader to let us know what they think about the topic.

That being said, we don’t ditch data completely. We provide our readers with the most up to date news and the most meaningful stats, all while staying human and having our own opinions.

As for the topics we write about and sports we like to cover, the four main American sports (football, basketball, hockey, and baseball), as well as golf and UFC are our main talking points in most of our articles. We also discuss Formula 1, tennis, soccer, and basically anything that is a spicy subject in the sports media world.

As previously mentioned, there is a Boston bias here at A2Z Sports. Aidan and Jack both grew up diehard Boston sports fans, and often times in our articles you will see that background bleed through. Aidan is also at school in Boulder, Colorado, so he frequently posts CU centered content (this has increased exponentially with Coach Prime’s arrival).

Aidan writes articles on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Jack covers Tuesdays and Thursdays. Along with our five articles per week, we are also very active on Twitter/X giving our best bets, hottest takes, and freshest news. So, subscribe to our mailing list and follow us on Twitter/X to join in on our journey to making sports conversations more approachable and entertaining.
